Chapter 64 I Just Want Mummy To Hold Me

Olivia watched the entire thing happening right in front of her. She frowned as she couldn’t speak even when she wanted to. She could only pray secretly…..she could only pray that her mother did not chase away her father who had just returned home! .𝗰𝗼𝗺

“If you…..if you really take us as your family, please stop causing more problems for us!”

Emilia gave an ultimatum, “If you can’t do so, you should leave right now!”

She was indeed touched by what he did, but as she calmed down, she started thinking about reality.

Oliver Walker lowered his head. It was pointless for him to argue now. It would only make things worse!

“Tell mummy, how would I be able to make you feel better?

Her heart ached!

It was really painful indeed!

The torment from the disease was irreplaceable!

Whenever her daughter was in pain, Emilia felt the same as well. The intense pain felt like hundreds of ants nibbling her heart.

“I just…..want mummy to hold me to sleep.”

The entire room turned quiet once again!

No matter if it was Oliver or Emilia, none of them thought that these words could come out of the mouth of a 7-year-old child.

It was unexpected, but it made sense!

She had waited through several winters and summers. She waited for years and finally found her father. However, all she had gotten since then were arguments. Why wouldn’t she be affected by it?

Emilia nodded her head repeatedly as she slowly caressed her daughter’s head. “Olivia, you’re the best. I’ll be right here to watch you sleep…”

“Mummy will always be here.

“I will always be by your side!”

Olivia slowly smiled even when she was in a lot of pain.

She slowly closed her eyes as she remembered how her mother said that once she fell asleep, she would no longer be able to feel the pain.

Oliver Walker took a deep breath. He couldn’t sit or stand. He suffered in guilt and remorse for the entire night.

“Have you gotten everything arranged?”

William Davis, who had been admitted to the hospital as well, started screaming at the top of his lungs as soon as he woke up.

“I want them to regret it for the rest of their lives!
