Chapter 38 Can’t You At Least Give Me A Chance?

Emilia let out a cold laugh, “And who’s the one who taught you?

“Don’t you dare tell me that he is the one who taught you!”

It already reached this point, and there was nothing left.

Along with what Oliver Walker had done these few days, Emilia felt disappointed, and the cautious look in her eyes was getting more and more obvious.

“Master!”

Hendric Smith nodded his head, “He taught me everything, so I never forgot…”

Then, Emilia who was biting her lips suddenly shouted, “Enough!”

She had already lost everything. Why was it that she still couldn’t escape this world that was full of lies?

Did god really think that her life could still be even more miserable?

Hendric Smith trembled after getting screamed at.

Oliver Walker frowned, and he spoke sincerely, “I know that you may not be able to believe me, but…..can’t you at least give me a chance?

“Just once!”

If Emilia wasn’t able to put down her guard against him, it would be extremely difficult for him to gain her trust again.

But, he was not lying at all!

“Shouldn’t you be better than him?!”

Emilia could no longer control her emotions as she screamed, “Are you going to tell me that you, as someone’s master, are worse than your own apprentice?!

“Olivia is your daughter!

“As her father, why aren’t you saving her on your own? Why did you get your apprentice to do it instead?!”

She felt hopeless!

Completely hopeless!

These tricks were completely illogical!

This was just an insult to her intelligence!

After being questioned, Oliver kept quiet!

In fact, Emilia was right. His medical skills were much better than Hendric Smith’s.

Logically speaking, he didn’t need his apprentice to do so!

But the problem occurred 4 years ago, during the war…
