Chapter 22 A Cruel Father

“The patient is no longer in danger now!”

James Floss removed his mask and said, “Once the anesthesia wears off, she should be awake soon, but she has to be on bed rest. It’s best if she is in a happy state now so that her body’s immunity can be strengthened. This should be able to stop the disease from relapsing.”

After hearing so, Emilia smiled. As long as her daughter was fine, everything that she did before would be worth it!

Emilia was extremely angry with Oliver Walker because she had high expectations of him!

She waited for him for eight long years. How much did she suffer all these years?!

She got a cold, irresponsible response. Was this a punishment from God?

Oliver Walker did not want the misunderstanding to get any further. He wanted to explain himself.
